Of all the regrets I have, and a number of them swam through my mind this past week, I can say there is one decision I made years ago that I pray I will never give up on.
After listening to the book of Hebrews on an mp3 yesterday and then today reading through the first 3 chapters I remain convinced of my faith in Jesus Christ and in His care for me.
Versus 12-14 in chapter 3 read:
Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
While this is a warning to believers to remain in Christ, the good news is you still can. And for unbelievers you too can find this faith and joy that has no regrets.
