Why do we try to limit God?

I was pondering this morning, wondering why God doesn’t answer our prayers in the grand examples of the Old Testament, such as part the waters or rain down food for people to pick up off the ground, or even in the New Testament where the lame got up and walked, people with serious skin diseases were immediately healed or a man already dead and buried for four days gets up and leaves his tomb.

Then it occurred to me: God is not limited by anything and can do ANYTHING He wants to help us along and answer our prayers.

I don’t necessarily need a sign, though a billboard would be helpful from time to time!

I’m still hopeful.
